I will be listing a few select relics I have in my possession that i have picked up over my many travels across the himalayan terriroty- Bhutan, Tibet, Nepal and India! I can safely say all my pieces are genuine period items unlike the majority listed by other sellers as I have only a few and they were acquired not from antique stores in commercial districts but from local grassroots art dealers in very remote districts who were introduced to me by my dharma teachers!

This is another piece I have procured from my kind friend Janki Tsongmal,his family has been dealing in ONLY genuine antiques and relics of buddhist and hindu tradition for nearly 80 years now! they literaly are the walking bible of genuine antiques and perioud items!
This is an absolutely brilliant 80 year old relic done in nothing but a 100% purest silver rupa of the blissful union of the primordial buddha samantabhadra in yabyum. It is sooooo rare to find a rupa of this subject and the fact that this one is done in a 100% pure silver and has been finished with such perfection ( have a good look at the perfect proportions, pose symmetry) and its heritage age this piece contains such a marvelous degree of beauty and energy i am sue the images themselves radiate this very clearly!
Its so very hard to find actual dharma articles of Samantabhadra in yabyum let alone again, and this holy rupa statue is certainly a very treasured piece in my collection! The mudra's are absolutely perfect. T of course is some degree of mild wear on certain points which in my opinion adds to the character of this dharma article, besides who would want a 100% pristine piece they just dont have that amount of charm as the old heritage pieces do such as this:)
The lovely tingers of wear and age that have taken home to this statue add a great deal to its character!
You shall clearly notice the distinct difference of how the art of holy rupa statues once was many years back - they have a charm that cannot be replicated and an energy that you feel instantly upon connection with it.I will let the images do the rest of the talking :)
This staue is made of pure brass and is measuring a LARGE 14 inches in height and 7 inches from left to right and 4 inches in depth!

CONSERVATIVELY SPEAKING THIS STATUE HAS BEEN IDENTIFIED TO BE APPROX 80 YEARS OLD IF NOT MORE.

WE DO NOT ACQUIRE WORKS THAT HOLD A LINEAGE OF BEING LOOTED OR PLUNDERED FROM HOLY MONASTERIES REGARDLESS OF THE WORKS RARITY OR BEAUTY, NOR DO WE ENGAGE IN THE PRACTICE OF "ANTIQUING" ARTICLES TO MAKE THEM LOOK OLD AS 99% OF ALL THE OTHER SELLERS ACTIVELY ENGAGE IN- AN ART THAT HAS BEEN MASTERED.

Samantabhadra. The word Samanta means, "universally extending." Bhadra means "great virtue." The word samantabhadra means as Universal Virtue and Universal Worthy.

He is naked and blue in color, and is most often pictured embracing his white consort Samantrabhhadri. The union of the two understood to represent the primordial (or mystical) union of wisdom and compassion. The masculine form is passive, representing the compassion and skillful means (upaya) that have to be developed in order to reach enlightenment. The feminine form is active and represents wisdom (prajna), which is also necessary to enlightenment. United, the figures symbolize the union necessary to overcome the veils of Maya, the false duality of object and subject. The sacred Tantric practice leads to rapid development of mind by using the experience of bliss, non-duality, and ecstasy while in union with one's consort.

Like Manjushri, Samantabhadra was an assistant to Sakyamuni Buddha. Historically, t are four famous bodhisattva in the East Asia; each symbolizes the Buddha's emphasis on different aspects of Dharma practices. They are Avalokitesvara's compassion, Manjushri's wisdom, Samantabhadra's practice, and Ksitigarbha's vow.
