I collected Hicks miniatures in the 1980-90's so I must list this as used; although it is an adult collectible and was not used as a toy; She is in perfect condition, having been stored for 20+ years. I had a story-book theme collection and this is "Little Bo Peep". Her dress is fine lace and pale blue calico with lots of lace petticoats. She had curly reddish hair and a very sweet face. Although Hicks is still making dolls, these earlier works are far superior in craftsmanship than her later editions. Perhaps her work is being done offshore now but when I purchased mine, they were American made. I am showing her with a 4" dollhouse girl in a chair for scale but they are not included. This doll is perfect 1/12 dollhouse scale and is only 1-7/8" tall. Payment within 2 days after auction ends is appreciated, unless you make other arrangements with me.
