Pricing & History
Eudora Welty. "Remarks at Santa Barbara Writers' [sic] Conference." N.d. (apparently 1975). With "Please confine circulation to members of the conference" typed below Welty's name. 9-page speech delivered by Eudora Welty, with what appear to be her edits and corrections. Nine 8.5 x 11" typed pages on Santa Barbara Writer's Conference letterhead, stapled, with large portions of photocopied text (some containing a few photocopied handwritten edits) cut from another source and tipped to typed pages; with a few handwritten edits in blue pen and pencil, presumably in the hand of Welty. This speech was a somewhat revised version of Welty's essay "Words Into Fiction" which was first collected in Three Papers on Fiction in 1962 (Polk A13).Both documents in very good condition, with evidence at top left corners that both had been paperclipped together.
