Here's the story on the vintage bar lights I am listing today! I was called to the home of an elderly gentleman who has invited me to "help empty his sheds" in the past. Usually, he has partially refinished and repaired furniture, chipped crocks and asst odds and ends from auctions he loves to attend. Now he has decided to try to sell his old house and move North to his cabin. I visited his shed and looked over various pieces of old damaged furniture, picking a few that I though my talented husband would be willing to fix for me. I saw a big cardboard box up on a top shelf and asked what was in there....Just some old bar lights, he replied. I perked up and asked to see them! There were 4 NICE vintage bar items, so I bought that box too. Now that I have them home, cleaned decades of dirt off of them, and plugged them in....I am thrilled with my purchase. THEY ARE IN GREAT SHAPE AND WORK! So cool and retro!
So, here is the first light! Its a hard plastic wall light, molded around the rim of the concave back plastic bowl shaped part with a date of 1961, Jos. Schlitz Brewing Co, Milwaukee...etc. Also has "The beer that made Milwaukee Famous" along the bottom edge. When plugged in, the interior light comes on and the red ring with the beer name rotates around the blue globe. Its a large light, 12.5" in diameter. I SEE NO DAMAGE!! No cracks, chips, bad scratches! There is some tape residue on the blue globe, but overall its NICE!
I tried to find this exact SCHLITZ bar light online so I know how to price it, but nothing with the white back "bowl" sold recently that I found. I am pricing it according to what smaller similar bar top lights have sold for. It weighs 5 1/4 lbs, so will double box, and figure the total weight will be 10 lbs when packed. UPS ground is the best way to send it I think. You are welcome to pick it up if you are in my area.

PLEASE DON'T BID IF YOU DON'T INTEND TO PAY FOR IT!! I DO REPORT BIDDERS THAT DON'T PAY . Its a pain to search out and buy an item, pay the listing and selling fees, pack the item, and then not get paid.
Most of my bidders are so great, and quick to pay and leave feedback! But, lately non paying bidders have won about 15% of my sales lately....just nutz.
I have 3 more of the bar items from the same fellow, so please check my other auctions. In this case, I won't pack multiple purchases together....I don't want the items damaged.
