For your consideration today is this excellent vintage Erwin Weller lure box and advertising paper, with the box being for the No. 440 Classic Minnow lure! Also be sure to read the Important Notes at the end of the description! ~~ Description: For sale today is this vintage Erwin Weller company fishing lure box and advertising paper, with the box being marked as being for a No. 440 Classic Minnow lure! NOTE: We are selling numerous vintage lures and boxes, so be sure to check them all out as we always combine items into one package with adjusted, near exact cost shipping!! This sale is for the old time box and advertising paper, t is no lure included, the box is marked on one end panel with Weller's Classic Minnow No. 440 with a price stamped of $1.00, the top also says Genuine Weller Lure for Game Fish, Patented, Buy Guaranteed Weller Products, then the side panels have Erwin Weller Company of Sioux City Iowa, and Many Fine Prize Taking Fish Have Been Caught on Weller Lures. ~~The box measures 4 3/8" wide by 2" front to back, then is 1.25" deep. The box remains in nice shape structure wise with no tears or holes, one side panel has some wrinkles that are minor as well as a couple of similar things on the top, but overall remains a very straight box. T is light to moderate surface wear along the edges and corners, some overall wear to most surfaces that is nothing serious at all, t is a bit of color fading but still nothing bad, and remains a very nice display item for your collection. The bottom part is sound along with a few wrinkled spots, but no tears or holes, and has some light age discoloring on the outside. ~~The advertising sheet measures 4.5" wide by 7" tall, features the Weller Ozark Minnow, the Weller Mouse and the Weller Sunray Spinner lure. Has some wrinkles and normal folds, has a few small tears that are very minor and has some normal age discoloring that is also minor.
