Continuing in the tradition of their famous father, Alfredo Vilchis (nicknamed "Leonardo de Vilchis de Lagunilla"), Hugo is well know for his depiction of human physical challenges. Depicted is the one man's thanks for surviving trying to cross the border into the USA "Holly Mother I beg you with all my heart for my sons and wife that remain in Mexico and with tears in my eyes I ask that you bless my way towards the American Dream. Tomas Lopez" A recently produced piece by Hugo, the votive painting is on sheet metal, measuring approximately 8.75 inched by 11.75 inches. Signed lower left corner of painting.
