Continuing in the tradition of their famous father, Alfredo Vilchis (nicknamed "Leonardo de Vilchis de Lagunilla"), Luis is well know for his depiction of events that involve human endurance.
Each of the Vilchis brothers are concerned about the children who live on the streets of Mexico City. They dedicate time to working with these children. But they also record their stories in Ex-Votos for others to learn what life is like out on the streets. They have created many of these images and donated the proceeds to the charities that help the children. Depicted is one very harrowing story.
