Exakta Varex IIb German SLR Ihagee CLA Pancolar Prism Exakta cameras were together with Exa the first successful SLR system in camera history. The producer was Ihagee Dresden from East Germany. Exaktas were very expensive I think it is nice collectible item now. I believe that the quality of work was by Exacta cameras the highest from all cameras made in former soviet block. Look at that beautiful chrome part, very unusual selftimer - I never saw nothing similar.Selftimer not only allows the variable time of it own work, but long exposure times starting from 1/8 up to 12 seconds!!! Exakta Varex IIb was manufactured in years 1963-67. On the top plate is engraved "Ihagee Dresden". Description: Ser. No. 1104024 . Lens Carl Zeiss Jena Pancolar 50/2 single coated, stops up to 22, ser. No. 7182499 . Shutter speeds 1/30-1/1000, B, T additional speeds with help of selftimer from 1/8 up to 12 seconds!Cosmetically is this camera MINT- . Chrome nearly scratches. Leattte without marks. Black edges without wear. No brassing marks on chrome edges on back. Lens barrel with minor mark on edges. Including case but without cap. With prism eye level finder. Uptake spool inside.Camera was recently overhauled tfore works properly, shutter speeds are appropriate. Glass on lens is clean, no fungus, no scratches (nearly). Nice glass for this type of lens. read more
