Hey Everyone! I have got today just one of the many uniforms that I will be selling over the next few months. Please continue to watch my other auctions for more outstanding items to come! Up today is this wonderful WWII US Navy Officer's Uniform & Insignia group. The provenance on this lot is solid! Included is Lt. Commander Albert Irving Pollack's tunic, pants, and assorted insignia; however, the cap you see in the photos is NOT included. The tunic is in superb condition. T is no sign of any exterior damage ( although the lining shows wear in two places, but that can be repaired ). The clutchback Wolf-Brown style ribbons above the chest pocket include the Navy Commendation Medal, American Defense with "A" for Atlantic service, American Campaign, Asiatic Campaign with star, and WWII Victory. On the sleeves are the stripes denoting his rank as a lieutenant commander. The tunic was tailored by Levin Brothers of Norfolk, dated March 7, 1942 and named to Alfred Irving Pollack. The tunic is around a size 42 Long and the pants measure out at a 32 waist and around a 34 inseam. The slacks match the tunic exactly and are in mint condition! Also included is an extra set of identical ribbons, an extra Navy Commendation medal ribbon ( seperate ), a pinback VFW ribbon - I believe it is a VFW though I could be incorrect - a set of collar read more
