Up for a 10-Day auction is this pair of VERY RARE hammered copper (with brass wash) bookends crafted by Edgar Thomas Cullen Fish, better known as, "E.T.C. Fish" of Tioga, Pennsylvania. While the majority of his work found is done in brass, his work in copper is quite rare. These superb bookends were hand-crafted by a master, and his attention to quality is very evident on every one of his pieces. If you love high-end arts & crafts quality, then these bookends are a must for you. These fully signed copper bookends are 5" tall, 4" wide (at base) and 2.75" deep, also at the base. The hammered work represents the two main design elements Fish used - both bird's eye hammering and a design that resembles wood carving. Just that fact makes these bookends even more rare and unusual. They are also crafted out of a thick-gauge copper, and have a solid feel and excellent balance. Best of all, these 2 bookends are in MINT Original Condition . T are no chips, cracks, bends, dents and/or repairs to these pieces whatsoever. They are both clearly marked on their respective bases with Fish's name, "hand-wrought", location (Tioga, PA) and trademark "F" within a heart representing the heart he always put into his work. His quality work is greatly sought-after, but seems to rarely surface. 's your chance to win a real prize, so get these while you can...
