Beautiful 1942 dated 16" O L marked bayonet and scabbard. Blade is unsharpened and blade finish while showing minimal wear is excellent. No pitting whatsoever. Grips are the scarce reddish brown not the more common black. Scabbard is in wonderful shape with no cracking or chipping and the green is virtually flawless. Hanger swivels freely and shows no corrosion. This would be a tough one to upgrade. I hate to sell this bayonet from my collection but wage cuts and bills force priority re evaluations. Please contact me with any questions and I will do my best to supply timely answers. I hope that the pictures show whatever you may want to know. Buyer to pay within 7 days of invoice date. All payments must clear prior to shipping. Buyer pays all shipping costs. Need to figure out the shipping calculator so I put in a flat rate. This is NOT what winner will be charged. Shipping charges will be determined at auction end. Buyer will only pay actual shipping cost without any handling fee added. Insurance is not required but strongly recommended. I will only ship to the United States unless arrangements are made prior to auction end. Feedback will be left after completion of transaction.
