Here is a rarely found double specimen ofBalcoracania dailyi (with counter part). The trilobites measure 8mm. and 7mm. on a 55mm x 45mm x 16mm. plate, and are quite stunning under a stereoscope. The pictures are the best description I can give. B.daiyli generally are found as disarticulated specimens, and complete ones are few and far between. B.dailyi holds the record for the most segments in a Trilobite, having up to 61+ segments in an adult. These occur in South Australia only, and this is from Cape D’Estaing Formation, Emu Bay, Kangaroo Island, South Australia. Lower Cambrian.
