The body is first stripped and soaked in a mild detergent until all the dirt and grease is removed. It is then placed in a sterilization solution to remove and kill any fungus caused by long spells in attics etc. Repairs are carried out and new parts fitted. The driver has any loose flakes of paint removed and is touched up. The body is polished and new decals fitted if required.
