Exceptional 1920's Sterling Overlay Centerpiece Bowl

This centerpiece bowl is one of the nicest examples of sterling overlay decoration that I have seen in some time. The bowl is large, panelled on the underside and has a fluted rim. The overlay extends down the inside of the bowl, almost to the base. It has an Art Deco design of stylized flowers and foliage. T are baskets of flowers at the rim with descending tendrils and linked by swags and scrolls. The condition is very good, t are no scratches, cracks or chips in the glass and t are only the tiniest of losses to the silver overlay, 4 of the leaves have lost the end of their tips. The bowl is 11 1/2" in diameter and stands 3 3/4' tall. T are no markings that I could find. It is indeed sterling silver overlay, not silver deposit.
