UP FOR BUY IT NOW : A 1954 REGENCY TR-1 MANADRIN RED TR-1 RADIO WITH ORIGINAL BOX AND PAPER WORK - IS EXCEPTIONALY RARE DUE TO VERY GOOD CONDITION OF ORIGINAL BOX AND PAPER WORK - IMMEDIATE PAYPAL PAYMENT IS REQUIRED. Excellent example of the World's 1st commerical transistor radio - considered a Holy Grail in transistor radio collecting. This example has no chips or cracks in casing and has a very low Serial#. Was certainly very well cared over 50+ years. No wear evident on volume control. Original 1954 Packaging box in very good condition for 1954 -50+ years old. Mininal wear evident on case - some wear on back. Interesting original invoice dated May, 1955. Alot of information is available on Regency TR-1 - an inspiring effort of American Technological expetise that changed the world into transistor electronics. 1954 Regency 1st generation box in exceptional condition for 1954. Includes original inserts, user guide , etc. Not many examples with an early type original box in good condition. Radio has never been tested recently with 22v battery, but is available for sale today - working condition is unknown. Photos give good representation of set.
