This beauty is quite well marked with a showy white crystallization in a translucent agate background with Red, Burgundy, Yellowish Green, Gray and White showing a beautiful design shape. Awesome!!! This particular Agate variety appears only in Argentina, Patagonia. This material was found with the Condor Agate in the 90s. GEMSTONE: Agate is a striped chalcedony quartz that forms in concentric layers in a wide variety of colors and textures. An individual agate forms by filling a cavity in a "host" rock. As a result, agate often is found as a round nodule, with concentric bands.
