Description:

For auction here is a wonderful antique Japanese Satsuma vase. This gorgeous vase is exceptionally finely painted and depicts two pheasants in a woodland landscape with blossom trees and yellow flowers. The background shading of tiny gilt dots and the raised enamel work on the blossom is indicative of superb quality. The intricacy of the artwork on this vase can truly be appreciated when seen in person.
