The child is the show, with all due respects to the patient mother. The lighting on the child's face is extraordinary and the off-the-shoulder dress is dramatically askew. T is the look of innocence combined with a healthy dose of angst. Look at the size of the mother's hand in comparison to the child's. SIZE. Entire frame is 5 1/4 x 4 5/8 inches. Dag appears to be an oval plate. Opening measures approximatly 2 3/4 x 2 1/4 inches. HOUSING. Oval frame. CONDITION. Mat abrasions upper left, just in from the edge. Tiny scratch lower left. White spots over the left shoulder of the woman. Everything else you see is debris under the glass. In the lower right corner t's crud on top of the glass, giving the appearance of corrosion on the plate, but the plate is fine underneath. Professionally resealed. APPEARANCE.
