Jaw-dropping, mega-sparkling signed Hobe set that literally defies description, but that won't keep me from trying. Not only are these jewels gorgeous, but they are in incredible vintage condition. All the rhinestones have amazing sparkle and it would not surprise me if they are all Swarovsky crystals, although I have no way of verifying that other than comparing them with my Eisenberg pieces. T is no loss of finish on the faux pearls, and no missing beads. The necklace and bracelet are designed with large sparkling baguettes and chatons, small chatons with pink, blue and green stripes (I think you can see these unusual crystals in the closeups,) dangling faux pearls and clear beads some of which have red centers and others black. I can't even describe the design on the bib of the necklace as a large part of it is hooked together and t are also dangling beads and faxu pearls. The necklace is adjustable and on one end is a six-sided clear bead. Bracelet has a push type clasp and a safety chain. Multi chain brooch has dangling faux pearls along with clear beads with red or black centers, one chain that is small faux pearls and another chain with one dangling faux pearl. Clip earrings are set with large jet black and ruby red marquise, round chatons and a large faux pearl in the center. All rhinestones are prong set in a nice gold tone mounting. The earrings and the bracelet are marked "Hobe." The necklace and brooch are not marked. The original hinged dislay case is in very good condition on the outside.....covered with an almost black satin type fabric with a light gray and black flower design. The Hobe' logo is stamped on the inside of the top. Case is lined with a cream satin fabric that does show some age. T are no holes or rips in the liner fabric other than two pin holes above the Hobe' logo w it appears the brooch may have been pinned at one time. I can't possibly do these beauties justice. You have to see them live and in person to truly appreciate the fantastic design and workmanship. No chipped, cracked or missing stones/beads. No loss of coating on the faux pearls. Please keep in mind that these are "vintage" jewels and are not new. While the condition of these beauties is certainly fabulous, they are not in mint new condition.
