Exceptional Large 17" round Antique turned wood bowL has a fabulous aged patina. Thick walled bowl has beautiful Form and is turned both on the inside and outside with a large rim with slightly beveled lip. Really handsome bowl as you can see the natural woodgrain intersecting with the tiny turnings. Bowl is Round but because two sides sit higher, that width measures 17 inches while the opposite measures 16 inches, (please see profile picture 7). Hard to find a bowl of this size so beautifuLLy made, yet it is not so large that it cannot be displayed with other collectibles. Looks like traces of red paint on the outside of bowl, but I cannot be sure as it is very faint. Fine antique condition with no cracks or repairs. Bowl was used as you can see chop marks on the bottom and sides. Some old worn tape reminants on bottom of bowl, as shown. What a fabulous addition to your primitives collection.
