W.N. McMILLIAN'S EXPEDITIONS AND BIG GAME HUNTING IN SOUTHERN SUDAN, ABYSSINIA, & BRITISH EAST AFRICA BY B.H. JESSEN, C.E., F.R.G.S. You are bidding on an exceptionally rare copy of the narrative of four African hunting and travel expeditions by William McMillian and his wife and recorded by B.Jessen. The travels includes, "The First Blue Nile Expedition, The Sobast and Boma Expedition, the Melut and Kerin Route, the Second Blue Nile Expedition," and a journey to East Africa. Mr.and Mrs. McMillian were very wealthy and owned a farm in Kenya called Juja. This book contains much on big-game hunting , both in the Sudan abd Kenya. Exceptionally scarce as it was printed for private circulation only . Printed by Marchant Singer & Co., 47, St. Mary Axe, London. E.C. 9230. Printed in 1906. Condition is very good in original cloth binding, complete with rear-pocket map. The binding is firm but t is some stress wear between the boards and the interior of the book. T are no loose pages. The exterior has some wear along the spine edge on the top and bottom and t is a blemish made by wear as can be seen the photos. Because of it's age t is some slight yellowing. 122 illustrations including photos. 415pp. PAYMENT : PayPal is the preferred method of mayment. Write to the seller for additonal details on payment.
