A scarce memoir of the author's experiences as a Confederate soldier and Union prisoner in the American Civil War. This book was written from memory by the author in February 1916 in Roanoke, W. Va. It was published by The Stonewall Jackson Chapter No. 1333 United Daughters of The Confederacy Clarksburg, W. Va. This book had never been opened untio today. It was found in the attic of a home that was built in the late 1800s in Clarksburg, West Virginia. We are offering this very rare book with no reserve and will let the Ebay community determine the value of this rare find. Condition Standard Excellent unused condition. Shipped in a sturdy box, not a flimsy mailer.
