I don't know much about this sort of item but will do my best. (see photo). T was a mark on the bottom (see photo). A mesh purse, which opens and closes crisply. A silver pencil, which rotates correctly, but I think must be out of lead. A card holder. It was inside this that I found the marking D.P.C., (I tried to get a picture of this). The clip mount is of a highly detailed lion(see photo), with the owner's initials etched very minutely on it (see photo). The other medalion is a little smaller with a different design. The chains are highly detailed. It is sterling silver throughout. I believe this is exactly how this item was made with nothing added later. All the work on this item is of superior old world craftsmanship and has a glowing patina. This piece was from an extensive old money estate and had been stored for over 70 years. It is in extraordinary condition, befitting such a classic piece of personal adornment. In reviewing the listing I discovered that I mistakenly took a picture of the backside read more
