ABSOLUTELY EXQUISITE 6-PIECE WALLACE ROSE POINT SILVER PLATED TEA & COFFEE SET COFFEE POT, TEA POT, LIDDED SUGAR, CREAM PITCHER, GOLD-WASH WASTE POT PLUS GIGANTIC ENGRAVED TRAY MINT CONDITION~NO MONOGRAMS~RARE SET I am pleased to offer an absolutely exquisite tea and coffee serving set by Wallace in their Rose Point 1200 pattern. This is plated holloware in absolutely mint condition. Nothing is scratched, dented, or damaged in any way and the silver is all intact. I see no silver loss at all. Wallace Rose Point is an exquisite pattern with rose detailing and intricate scrollwork. The sides are scalloped and slightly ribbed. The feet, rims, handles and other details all display the stunning rose pattern. It is one of the prettiest patterns available anyw The matching sterling flatware I am also offering this week was manufactured in 1934, but I do not know if the holloware was made the same year. What a showy tea set this is! It consists of 6 pieces including a gigantic engraved detailing tray that is 28-1/2" long by 18" wide. Instead of having to crowd everything onto a too-smal tray, t is room for everything to be displayed comfortably. You can add a sweet little sterling bud vase, 5 o'clock teaspoons and probably your tea cups and saucers as well. (The tray will have to ship alone because of its very large size and weight. Otherwise t is danger it will damage the other pieces.) T is a cabuchon in the center of the tray for monograms, but none have been made. T are no monograms on any of these pieces, so if you wish to have it monogrammed for gifting, you certainly may. Also included are two elegant pots, one slightly smaller than the other. The larger is for coffee and stands 12" tall to the top of the lid. The matching teapot stands 11-1/4" tall measured the same way. In addition, we have a lovely covered sugar bowl measuring 7-1/4" from handle to handle and 6-1/2" tall and a perfect cream pitcher that is 5" tall and the same wide. Completing the set is a gold-washed waste bowl measuring 5-1/4" in diameter and standing 3-1/2" tall. I have never seen an older tea set in such condition. I hope the many photos provided will do it justice. A smaller set than this sells on the replacement market for about $1050. I'll bet it isn't in the condition this set is in, either. I have a very large, fabulous set of Wallace Rose Point sterling flatware from the same estate also listed now, so be sure to check that out also while you're looking. SHIPPING NOTE: Due to the size and weight of the large waiter's tray included in this set, it must be shipped separately. I cannot ship economically to international destinations when the carton is oversized, due to size limits on parcels to most countries. If you do not see your country listed on the shipping calculator, please contact me for a quote (but be forewarned--it's expensive). For US customers, shipping is flat rate because eBay's calculator will not compute two packages of different sizes and weights. I will adjust shipping before invoicing the winning bidder, as some locations near Arizona will be quite a bit less than quoted. I do my best to ship safely without adding more weight than necessary to a parcel, but some things are simply big and heavy. Local pickup is also fine, no charge. Stuff You Should Read About How We Do Business: ~We are always happy to combine orders for shipping if we can. Even when we must ship items in separate boxes for safety, we waive our $2 handling fee on the second and subsequent boxes. ~We do not use Buy-It-Now on our auctions and don't end auctions early for offers. It's not fair to those who are watching and expecting to bid at the end (a risky business, but many chance it nonetheless.) ~All our auctions are no-reserve. ~We guarantee your satisfaction on all items we sell. If we have missed something, which does happen from time to time with the antique and vintage items we handle, we will always...
