Exquisite Antique Diamond Ring --14K White Gold This ring is exquisite, and would make a lovely Engagement ring, Sweet Sixteen gift, or Graduation present. The ring features a larger center stone flanked on either side by two smaller stones of descending size, for a total of five diamonds. All stones are round. Though the diamonds are not large, they are exceptionally white and sparkly, with no cloudiness whatsoever. Our jeweler placed them at VS1 quality or higher, and approximated the combined carat weight at .25 carats. Please note that diamonds cannot be weighed exactly while in a setting, so this our jeweler's best guess. The jeweler from whom the ring was originally purchased stated the carat weight at .25 also. The center stone is set high off the finger, which enhances its sparkle, and also makes it look larger. The stones are set in 14K white gold (marked), and the gallery of the ring is ornate and detailed. On the inside of the band opposite the 14K mark, t is a series of numbers which look (to me) like 4 15/18âe¦.so perhaps the original owner had it inscribed in 1918? Even with a loupe, this is very difficult to read, and it may be some sort of manufacturer mark instead, but this is how it appears to me. The current size is approximately a 6, but of course the ring could be easily sized. The gift box will be included.
