This week, I am listing several rare and beautiful religious pieces recently acquired from a nun's estate. These exquisite pieces are part of an extensive collection of catholic items which I will be auctioning off on eBay over the next few days. All pieces date from the early to mid 1900's and have been beautifully kept and venerated over the years. Please take a look at the pictures below, as they truly capture the beauty of these precious pieces. Offered in this auction is a beautiful rare antique Catholic Nun's side belt rosary with round reddish brown wooden beads, a french brass clip and a silver skull & crossbones crucifix. This exceptional five decade rosary is composed of large smooth 10mm (1/2") reddish brown wooden beads strung on a stainless steel chain. The strands of beads are clipped to a brass ring. Attached to the ring is a solid brass rosary clip decorated with a french Miraculous medal and marked "France" on the back. The clip, measuring 2 1/2" with the ring, is used for fastening the rosary at the waist. The superb silver 4 1/4" long x 2 1/8" wide crucifix has a finely detailed Corpus, INRI plaque and skull & crossbones beneath the Corpus.
