This is such an exquisite, artistic piece. This burlwood planter is very old, dating to at least the early 1900's if not into the 19th century. I believe it is Japanese in origin, the planter measures approximately 8 1/2" tall at the back, the base is about 11-12" by 11-12". In excellent condition, the natural tones of the burlwood are absolutely striking, the base is the original wood bottom, see photos. T is some metal or tin lining, which is also original to the piece. It's all t and original, and beautiful in its simplicity. Buyer to pay $15.00 shipping/insurance within the U.S., we accept checks and money orders only, checks are generally held up to ten business day to clear. NO PAYPAL or Checkout, please, we will contact the winning bidder at auction end, Thank You!
