Offered is a stunningly beautiful antique hand carved shell cameo brooch pendant combo. It features Flora, goddess of flowers dancing with a garland. The craftsmanship in this piece is amazing, the graceful movement, the flowing of her gown, the perfection of detail. It is carved in nice relief with the highly contrasting layers of sardonyx shell used to perfection. It is set in a beveled and roped 14k yellow gold (marked) frame with a locking pin and bale for use as a pendant. It measures 1 3/8" by 1 1/16". It is an attractive high quality piece of Art Nouveau period jewelry in near mint condition.
