Exquisite Cherub Diamonds Enamel Victorian 18k Locket Ultimate cherub enamel 18k gold diamonds locket. The central portion of the locket has a beautiful enamel cherub holding a tree branch and reaching out for a diamond flower. Bordering the cherub there is an exquisite hand chased design with light blue, dark blue, and black enamel. The surface along the border has some very minor enamel losses to the light blue section, only seen under magnification. The central enamel portion with the cherub has no losses what so ever. It is very beautiful and painted with lovely pastel enamel colors. The back of the locket has a minor ding in the upper right side that could be repaired. This is a beauitful antique enamel locket measuring 1-7/8 inches high to the top of the locket ring and a little more than 1-1/2 inches wide. Weight 9.4 grams. Antique lockets of this quality are almost impossible to find today. We are very fortunate to have found this beautiful objet d' art.
