For your consideration a Gorgeous Antique cabinet plate from ROYAL WORCESTER c. 1900-10, and nearly Perfect. It is 8 3/4" across, and depicts a game bird (a fancy looking one) and his plumage and a wonderfully enameled shrubbery behind him. Exquisitely painted by GEORGE JOHNSON and signed on this plate and at least 12 more that I will be listing. Plenty of gilt on the cobalt rope like edge, and lots of decoration with the puce/purple bows above the green swag that moves around the entire plate. Puce backstamp. No damage seen, though in certain lights I see a light scrape or two across the white part of the plate. MINOR and only mentioning for accuracy. RARE on the secondary market. BEST OF LUCK!
