This is fabulous Tray that is exquisitely hand painted on a great old mold. This has been part of my collection for a long time and it is with real regret that I am letting it go. The artist has painted superbly beautiful Roses in shades of rich pink and deep maroon. The artistry is excellent and the use of color immediately draws the eye. The split handle has a lovely Rosette for the finial. T is raised embossed leaves and flowers on each end and gentle scallops around the edge. This is an extremely beautiful mold and one that I have several of. The Tray measures 11" long, 7" wide and stands 3 1/8" tall to the tip of the Rosette. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or hairlines. The colors are beautiful and the gold looks very good; a very small amount of wear to one edge and some high points; not a distraction in the least. T is no mark on the bottom, but this is a Limoges Guerin mold. I have one of mine sitting right next to this one as I list it and they are the exact mold to the "T". 1900-1932. PLEASE WAIT TO HEAR FROM ME AFTER THE AUCTION - THE SHIPPING WEIGHT IS JUST AN ESTIMATE. I WILL NOT HAVE COMPUTER ACCESS FROM JUNE 18TH - 22ND TO ANSWER QUESTIONS.
