EXQUISITE POTTERY TABLE DISH HAND THROWN EARTH TONES PROVENANCE Take the artist eye accompanied by the craftsmanship of the potter and you have yourself a hand turned work of art. Hand turned pottery, a medium that creates a one of a kind piece that can't be replicated even by the artist himself. The artist may get close in duplication, but never the same. Which is the alluring kind of mystique: that draws collectors in. ITEM DESCRIPTION Being offered for consideration and ones passion for collectable pieces created from the yield of Mother Earth is an authentic signed pottery earthen toned low table dish. The magnetism of this dish is not only its contributing design and warm muted hues, but its burlap textured fired glaze. An appealing eye catching method of removing the monotony of the glaze: with its exceptional burlap patterned finish. The bottom of this magnificent table dish/bowl is artist signed, but I am unable to find the artist signature in any of my pottery research. I placed a call to my pottery guru; however he must be basking in the setting sun in the solitude and sandy beaches of the Florida Keys . When I do get a hold of him, if he can head me in the direction of the artist I will pass along the info. This superb piece measures an exciting and visually pleasing 13 inches in diameter at the bowls upper rim. Bottom of this wonderful piece measures a sound 8 inches across. Bowl when gracing the middle of the table: stands 2 ¼ inches high. This piece of art does come with an attached thumb handle on one side. No chips no cracks are part of its astounding demeanor.
