This is a vintage signed and unique 1950's Hattie Carnegie demi parure consisting of a fantastic brooch and earrings. The first thing you notice on the brooch is the unique design of delicate and intricate lacey tiered gold metalwork, the ruffling of the top tier gives it depth and character. Add the cluster of the rhinestones, topaz, yellow (citrine or tourmaline yellow?) and clear rhinestones, and all together makes for a stunning brooch. The colors are great for Fall and Winter. This set is in good condition as you can see from the photo's. It has been appraised by Rhinestone Rosie (Rosalie Sayyah) of the Antique Roadshow. The reserve is set much lower than the appraised value, so you can bid with confidence in the value of this set. T are no broken parts of missing stones. On the back of the brooch is an oval cartouche signed "Hattie Carnegie". The brooch measures 2 inches x 2 inches, the clip earrings are 1 inch rounds. Buy now to wear for this Fall/Winter season , or it would make a lovely gift for that special someone! The earrings had one owner (non-smoker).
