Extra Rare Captured WWII German Silver Coin 2 Reichsmark Martin Luther This is the only year this coin was minted Mintage 82,000 1933 J minted in Hamburg 25mm , 8 Grams , 62.5% Silver You will receive the exact coin pictured On the rim of this coin is " Ein Feste Burg Ist Unser Gott" Which translate to " A Mighty Fortress is our God " This coin was named after Martin Luther a German priest who spearheaded a major reformation of the Roman Catholic Church in the early 1500's . " In an amazing act of arrogance and obvious propaganda, the German Nazi's used their blood-stained hands to mint coins honoring this significant religious figure." Upon the fall of the Third Reich all Nazi items were ordered to be destroyed , So the actual number of these coin are far less then the original production numbers.
