EXTRAORDINARY LOETZ VASE IN BRONZE METAL FRAME

This fabulous Loetz vase has been in our personal collection of Art Glass for 30 years. At that time it we purchased it from a very reputable Art Nouveau dealer, and though itâe(tm)s unsigned we are quite confident that it is authentic Loetz from the early 1900âe(tm)s. Since we acquired the vase I have found a very similar piece in an auction catalog with a metal frame which, while not so elaborate as this one, had the same motif. T is also a similar combination on under the Decors section âeoePalmasâe. Both the bronze frame and the glass vase itself are in excellent condition. The only exception is that the bottom of the metalwork is held on by three tiny bolts with nuts. One of the nuts has been replaced with an unpatinated modern one. The vase measures 12âe high x 6âe at the widest point. The base measures 6âe. This is an exquisite piece and worthy of the very finest collection.
