This auction is for the most extreme modernist living room set that has ever been on e-bay. The set consists of a sofa, chaise and chair. All have 3/4 inch solid glass sides with wood and steel beams going through the glass supporting the seats. They are covered with the original white vinyl. This set is most likely from the 70's but I am not exactly sure of the specific year. This set came from an extremely wealthy Colorado estate. The solid glass gives the set an amazing floating appearance. The chaise being the highlite of the set is the most comfortable chaise you will ever rest your bones in. Condition of this set is amazing. T are some extremly tiny holes on the very top of the chair, looks to be from a cat possibly. The vinyl on the chaise is near perfect and the couch near perfect as well except for a few tiny holes which could only be found upon very close inspection. All the glass appears to be scratch free. T are minor chips in the glass w the rods go through, but are covered up by the wood caps that screw on the ends and are not visible when assembled. Also on the bottom left rod on the sofa the screw which goes through the glass has stripped from the rod. This could easily be fixed and does not effect the stability of the couch. A professional could easily secure the screw back into the rod making for a more solid joint. read more
