Another piece of my collection going to fund another project , o.k. this is a 100% genuine late 1950s early 1960s egmond semi accoustic guitar , I,m almost sure it is called The Egmond Lucky7 model , made in Holland , it still has the original sticker on the back of the neck along with the serial number which can only just be seen , its in desperate need of refurbishment , and i,m pretty sure it is saveable, its a shame to pull it to bits , the electrics are great they still work ok when you plug it into the amp , it is pretty good condition for being lost in a loft for over 40 yrs , all the original component are still on the guitar ,the only thing missing is two of the little chrome ferrels which go through the headstock where the tuning keys are , due to no strings on it , there are the four original strings on it , but realy i,m sure theyre knackerd. I would love someone to be able to refurbish this great old piece of rock,n,roll history , Sir Paul started his carreer with one of these , so did Bryan May , Check the Egmond website to get further information , these guitars were being made before fender , and gibson , in holland ,and were sent all over europe just after the second world war .I also have the original 1960s Selmer 15watt valve amp , which was originally bought with this guitar , please see my other listing , any read more
