I use professional grade bubble wrap and styrofoam peanuts for packingand combine winning items to help save on shipping costs!Johnson Brothers England Pattern: Friendly Village Butter Box For the DISCERNING COLLECTORIf you collect the older pieces of Friendly Village, you will know how rare this piece is! Very few come up for sale. It is an exceptional piece but unfortunately, there is a chip on the lid. The chip repair is clearly visible from the underside but when the lid is in place, you have to look very closely to see the topside area. I put those two pictures one right after the other. The first shows the underside of the lid, the second shows the topside and if you look very closely at the top, just slightly to the left of center, you can see the tiniest of areas. It gets lost in the pattern No nicks, cracks, stains or crazing. Approximately 6" in diameter, 4" tall to the top of the knob on the lid. Has the old black backstamp.
