Up for your consideration is an extremely rare Noritake figural bird ink well. It measures, approximately, 3 1/4" high. I believe, from the back stamp, that it was made in the early 1900's. It is in nice condition. There are two tiny spots of missing paint (see photos 8 & 9). One is on his top button and the other is on the top of the red above his beak. He does not have any cracks. There is one chip on the inside rim (see photo 5) but it blends in so it's somewhat hard to tell. Overall, he is in quite wonderful condition. The perfect addition to someones ink well collection.
