We have for sale a selection of trial pieces from the Sylvac factory that were removed from their design studio in Stoke-on-Trent before it's very sad closure. Each piece is unique in its own way and some bare the original comments from the designer and some may vary slightly or dramatically from the finished released product. You are not only buying a beautiful item that will look stunning on display but also a piece of social history from the pottery capital of the world, Stoke-on-Trent.These pieces are all one off's, the reasons differ from piece to piece. some vary in size, shape and colour and some vary by design. Some pieces show comments made by the designer such as colours, textures used, firing temperatures etc. All are unglazed biscuitware. These will never again come to market. These are vinatage Sylvac and not moddern. Each piece is to be sold seperatly. All items are in uncleane dcondition and is upto the buyer if they decide to clean them, however i would personally reccommend they do not. Please see our other items. Made in England.
