This cast iron lamp bracket is the largest and most ornate I've ever seen.T are some interesting features to the bracket a scrolling vine and flower,and two large finials at the top.T are also two holes at the bottom two points which may have taken prisms or chain.This bracket is so large that it extends from the wall or post 22"and is 21 1/2 in height. and weighs over 9 pounds.Behind the font cup is a point with a hole(screw broken off) for a reflector mount.The cup is not the original,the party that found this in a old Pa. barn added the cup although it looks good with the bracket.They also did not find any hardware with it for hanging.The bracket was originally a gold color evident by the chipped paint.
