DESCRIPTION:

An extremely rare 18th century Chinese export foliate rimmed dish, decorated with the arms of ??? (Sorry, I ran out of time to research it.

The motto reads Lux inte Nebris

SIZE:

228mm (9.12 inches) Diameter

CONDITION:

Has old staple repairs w it was broken in half and repaired with the best available method of the time. Hair line and small fritted chips, the latter mainly under the rim.

DATING:

18th century (Qianlong reign)

COMMENT:

It cries out for professional restoration.

These are good pieces, offered at no reserve.
