This stunning, lovely Scorpion drowns Kazak rug is presented proudly by Dehati.1. It is really hard to find antique Kazak rug with this rare design, color combination and condition. It was made with wool on wool foundation in south west of Caucasus Mountain around early 20 century.

What makes this rug significant, is gold main color and unusual border design, and is flanked by four of fabulous scorpions. This lovely rug has a very close design to the one example of Schumann's Caucasian rug book. You can see clearly most unusual designs and color combination on this lovely and rare rug. T are stylized Scorpions at the field and borders. I believe this is a rare early Caucasian mountain rug and would make a great addition for the collector of Caucasian rugs also is a great investment for whole life.
The rug's tremendous impact comes from its perfectly balanced design and pure, saturated colors. Red, green and ivory Scorpions which stand on gold background, is strongly delineated and extremely simple in conception. beautiful and very old green, variety of magnificent blue, interesting yellow, ivory, dark natural brown make this outstanding rug so gorgeous and powerful, of course that all colors are natural and 100% vegetal dyes.

This rug is in almost perfect original condition. Rug has low pill at the field and good pile at the borders with both ends and selvages are complete one of the ends are not original but others is original. Selvages are not original but in perfect condition.. This piece of art has wonderful size for a Kazak rug, the size of this village rug is; 4'-2"x3'. The wool of this rug is absolutely soft, shiny and handles of this rug like a dream and the design and colors is impossible to describe. This Kazak recently emerged from an exclusive private collection in Azerbaijan .

Rug is offered at very reasonable price, so keep bidding on that with confidence. The value of this rug at any big rug galleries or any international auction houses is more than thirty thousand dollars, but I offer this rug at very reasonable value. This is a rare early Caucasian mountain rug and would make a great addition for the collector of Caucasian rugs.
