Description: It is with great pleasure that I am again offering selected pieces on eBay that I have gatd on my resent buy trip. Most of my offering comes from privet collections or homes in the Caucasus, Anatolia and Persia. I hope my offerings are good examples for valid eBay customers such as: collectors, interior designers, dealers or any other antique, historical and village rug lovers. I promise that you never get disappointed for your purchase on my auctions Dehati.1 is proud to offer a very rare, interesting, unique and Tribal Kurdish rug which was made around 1880 in Northwest of Persia. Among the Kurdish rugs, those with an unusual design between stribe lines have a very special magic.This emblematic and absolutely rare design, range and use of color executed in a fine weave as found are charateristic of the best of Kurd work. The colors of this beauty are; madder red, nice yellow, very old sea green at two different shapes, variety of blue, gold, indigo blue, white, dark and light natural brown. All colors are natural and 100% vegetal dyes. It is a highly desirable and perfect tribal collector piece. The wool of this outstanding rug is shiny, and colors are radiant. Rug is in very good condition for its age, full even pile all over and both ends and selvages are originally complete with some scattered repilled areas at the field which are done by good work. The size of this rug is; 12'x3'-5".The wool of this rug is absolutely soft, shiny and handles of this rug like a dream and the design and colors is impossible to describe.
