This is a piece I hate to part with because I doubt I'll ever see another one. Unfortunately, I have to downsize, and I no longer have a safe place in which to display it. Measuring 14" in diameter, It was produced by Vernon Kilns, I believe in the late 1930's, and was designed by Harry Bird. The pattern name is Fantail. The background is a gorgeous matte white, with a hand-painted tropical fish motif which is slightly raised and done in a glossy finish. The condition is great - it was clearly not used as tableware. T is a minute chip on the rim at approximately 10 o'clock, but it's too small to photograph. T's also a glaze pop (manufacturing flaw) just to the right of the bubble near the tail. Please bid with confidence, and be sure to email with any questions you may have. Thank you for looking and good luck with your bidding.
