EXTREMELY RARE Wagner Ware #13 Cast Iron Skillet NR

Up for auction is a great piece of cast iron . This is a #13 Skillet made by Wagner Ware sometime in the 1924 . It has the Stylized Logo, heat ring, and the #13 at the bottom . These #13 skillets are very rare and extremely hard to come by . I have never before come across any brand of #13 skillet let alone a Wagner . This skillet has come fresh from an estate sale of a gentleman who was a Griswold collector. This would make any excellent addition to any collection and I am trying something new by starting the bidding at only $.99 with NO RESERVE !! PLEASE READ EVERYTHING CAREFULLY. All that being said this piece is in GREAT CONDITION . T are NO WARPS, CHIPS, OR CRACKS . It is EXTREMELY RARE to find these HUGE PANS in this nice a condition . T is one thing worth mentioning . *** On the bottom of the pan , as you can see in the photos , t are very fine pits inside the fire ring . I have never seen any pan like this since as most collectors know the pitting would occur in an uneven pattern w ever the heat source was located . I am unsure if this is pitting or some sort of casting flaw but since it does look like pitting I will label it as such. They in no way detract from the desireability of this pan but I am very up front about everything out of the ordinary and my positive feedbacks in dealing with cast iron will attest to that . As with all my pieces what you see is what you get . T is nothing lurking under years of baked on crud or thick rust . I do not clean my pans with harsh chemicals or power tools , both acceptable methods in the cast iron community. I stand behind all my pieces as I myself have been a collector of cast iron for over a decade. When I find new pieces to fit into my collection I often trade them out for others and this piece is one of my surplus. Feel free to contact me at any time with any questions that you may have . This is a great piece of collectible cast iron that is surely going to go now but up in value as time goes by . Already these pieces are harder and harder to find. This piece books at almost $300 and I have seen dealers asking much much more .
