This Snowmobile Week newspaper is in very good condition. It is Vol. 1, No. 3 March 1, 1974. It sold for 35 Cents. This is as rare as the others that I am selling. This was produced before the paper became Snow-Week. One of the articles is written by late, the most famous snowmobile writer in the history of snowmobiling, "Mr. Snowmobile," John Ramstad. He was a regular on my father’s staff at the time. Another article is written by my father, Jerry Hoffman. He was also the publisher and owner. Also in this issue is an article on the " Celebrity Marathon Ride ," which mentioned participants such as Minnesota Vikings, Bobby Bryant & Bob Lurtsema, and the legendary, Ralph Plaisted. Also inside is an advertisement for the rare Raider sled, an advertisement for Yamaha, recipes for trail riding, 3 racing pages, and much more. This was published by Medallion Publishing, Inc. P.O. box 23403, Minneapolis, Minnesota, 55423. 19 pages not counting the front and back cover. This paper was eventually sold and became Snow-Week. It doesn’t get any more rare than this. It’s that simple. You can search the world over and absolutely will NOT find another copy anywhere. We have a few here that we will keep for mementos. A newspaper like these should be framed in a solid gold frame! P.S. Remember this is NOT a new paper. There is obvious wear. If you read more
