EYES OF BLUE: IN FIELDS OF ARDATH (Mercury UK 1969 stereo - stamped matrix) Ultra-rare heavy UK progressive album from the late sixties; organ driven and guitar dominated typical example of the british underground; on this album the band have shifted from their psychedelic influences (altough retaining the finest qualities from them) and moved towards fullblown heavy progressive. The record has been played a lot and shows it, quite some marks, but fortunately these hardly matter as the music is rather thunderous and drowns most noise; occasional background noise; still very satisfactory to listen to, but certainly don't expect mint. Laminated cover also shows signs of usage, some lamination crackles and some wear around the edges, nothing very serious, but again, not mint! All in all a very fine album, but if you're a mint addict this is not for you; if you just want the album fot your collection and are not to fussy this is the copy for you and you will find it very enjoyable.
