I,am not a expert on crocks.Will do my best to desribe the rare pc of history.Crocks reads D.F.haynes & Co. Crown brand baltimore M.D. # 2.Crocks does have a cracks you can see in the photos.if you need more photo just let me know.here a little bit of history of the pottery co. The chesapeake pottery co was founded in 1880 in baltimore and became D.F. haynes & Co in 1882 to 1895 after 1895 the firm was called D.F.haynes & son and ceased production in 1914.The factory hired art students mostly women from the maryland institute school of design in baltimore.If anyone have any more info please email Thank you.The cracks run on bottom of crock about a inch.
