Beautiful Character Doll Created by S.F.B.J. Societe Franqaise de Fabrication de Bebes & Jouets, Paris, France From 1899-on. Perfect bisque head, nice wig, sleep eyes, open mouth, pierced ears on jointed composition body; nicely dressed; all in good condition. 16th Blue Book value $1,00 to $1,200 You are bidding on a stunning Jumeau child doll. Her head is free of cracks, chips, rubs or repairs. Her wig is replaced but is appropriate, fits her well, and looks great with its beautiful long curls. Her big blue eyes open and close and lids show remainer of original wax and lashes. However, sometime in her past her eyes were reset and her left eye somehow was set just slightly off center. Awake and standing, not noticable. When you lay her down you can see the slight variance as I've shown in a picture. Her body is without flaw considering it's 100 years old. She is beautifully dressed in stockings and black shoes that fit her perfectly. She also wears pantaloons, an antique slip and beautiful dress. Slip and dress have some age wear. To complete her outfit, she wears a lovely antique bonnet. Please ask questions before bidding as I want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Reserve on this doll is much below book value since she's not perfect.
